Kids these days.
So the other day I was talking to my favorite person to talk about real issues with, Angela Hassan. And we were discussing how there is absolutely nothing special about our generation. Like the 60's had free love, the 70's rock and roll, and the 80's big hair, but uhm 2000's WHAT DO WE HAVE? nothing, that's right nothing. Well after discussing this for a few moments, we came to this. How the Earth is so fucking old and has been here for billions of years and we live an average of like 87 or something. That's like a spec of time it's like one breath in an entire lifetime of a human. Blah blah blah people like to tell us we're unique to the world and all this mambo jombo, but tell me can you remember the exact breathe you took in 2005 on January 28th and 11:27 pm. Can you tell me where you were how you were feeling, what you were thinking about. No you can't maybe you know where you were or have a vague idea, but that breath is like your entire life in relation to the age of the Earth. She was talking about how she wants to leave some sort of music behind to get remembered, and I completely agreed, like that breath what if something spectacular happened at that time you'd remember it. That's how she wants her life to be just like that one spectacular breath in your life, she wants to be that one breath that the Earth takes that it remembers forever. Then we got to how short life really is, too short to dwell on the past or worry about your future. And most of all too short to be unhappy. Or do something that makes you unhappy, and at that very time I promised her that I would never do anything that made me unhappy to make life easier, or for any other selfish reason. So I'm asking you, the people who read this if anyone really does, make the same promise to me or to someone in your life because after all you may think that you can be unhappy today or for this week or maybe a month, but what happens if you die tomorrow or in a week or in a month would all the suffering be worth it? So promise me you'll never suffer just because.
